WAYS TO SUPPORT PIE

a.   Donate to PIE- PIE is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  Your gifts are tax deductible.  An appeal is mailed annually to PIE benefactors and friends but gifts are appreciated year round.

b.   Wrap up a slice of Pie -These options are a great way to remember the special people who have shaped our lives and left a lasting impact on the Vinalhaven Community.  Include charitable giving on your gift list this year!  It’s a perfect way to please the person on your list who has everything.

*payment can be made in 3 installments of $250

For each gift, you will receive a personalized card with details of your gift to present to the person you have honored.

c.   Give Gifts of Stock -Gifts of securities such as publicly traded stock, mutual funds, closely held stock and S corporation stock can be given to PIE.  To obtain the greatest tax advantage, transfer physical securities to PIE rather than the proceeds from a sale. 

d.   Planned Giving -Consider making a larger, long-term commitment to PIE with planned giving. We would be happy to discuss options with you in person.
