Clock info for artists

Thank you for considering, or agreeing, to take part in this FUNdraiser for PIE!  Below is information we hope will assist you with your process and/or decision making.

Ordering your clock movement

Your clock movement will be special ordered and purchased by PIE.  However, you have the fun of selecting which mechansim will best suit your project.

Click here for info on clock mechanisms that PIE will purchase based on your specifications. We will be ordering an American Made Mini Quartz Movement

There are time and tide mechanisms available at a higher price.  Please contact Keely if you are interested in this option.

 You get to select the style of hands and length of the shaft that will best fit with the materials you are working with.

From this website we will need to know the following:

Selection of Hands: From the link above follow the link "click here for hands"

Model Number: At the site you are linked to above, there is a chart with model numbers. The only measurement you need is in the column "for dials up to".  Please select the model number that corresponds to how thick your clock is at the point where you drill the hole for inserting the mechanism. The diameter of the "shaft" of the mechansim is 5/16."

We won't be ordering the movements until late Spring.  You may send specifications now or wait until you have worked on your clock.
